Zolo

The Discovery

Colby builds handcrafted furniture designed to hold presence in a home for decades — pieces admired for their form, remembered for their feeling. Zolo takes its name from a blend of his children's names, two things becoming one — but the identity needed to carry that meaning with more intention. The brief was to build something refined, quietly commanding, and structured enough to grow into a multi-arm lifestyle house.

The Design

The logo is a table built from two components that can also join to form a Z.

That flexibility isn't decorative — it's structural. The same duality lives in the brand itself. Zolo builds furniture that pulls your attention without asking for it — designed to be lived with, admired over time, and quietly woven into everyday life. The mark works the same way. A family of variations, each one crafted to show up with the same quiet confidence wherever it lands — just as the furniture can hold a room with or without everything around it. A palette of Kiln Rust, Pressed Sage, Weathered Ash, and Limestone drawn directly from earth, timber, and warmth.

The Delivery

The identity was built to scale without losing its grounding.

Brand textures derived from the logo's own geometry extend the language across surfaces, adding depth without decorative noise. Two typefaces handle the range — Instrument Sans for bold, commanding headlines, Manrope for body copy that earns trust — with the system structured to accommodate the sub-brands and creative arms that will grow beneath it. A foundation built to become a house.
